Inbound · Closes the call
The AI voice agent that closes.
Inbound only. Cody answers, discloses it is AI, books the job when a slot is open, or names an owner with a due time, then writes the outcome where your shop already works.
AI voice · inbound calls only · recorded & transcribed.
What close means on this page
Close means a booked US job on an approved calendar window, with the outcome written back to the CRM: owner, next action, due time. When no slot fits, the call still ends closed in the only other honest way. One named person owns it, with a due time on the record.
That is a different job from the alternatives. A receptionist answers and takes a message. A DIY kit leaves you to wire booking and writeback yourself. An outbound “closer” dials people who never called you. EchoCody does none of those. It answers the calls placed to your numbers, and the web conversations a visitor starts.
How an inbound call ends
01
Answer
The first sentence discloses that it is an AI assistant and that the call is recorded.
02
Qualify
The trade questions you would ask. Emergencies, safety issues and angry callers transfer to a person.
03
Book or own
An approved calendar window, or one named owner with one next action and one due time.
04
Write back
A structured outcome into GoHighLevel, or the CRM that is actually connected on your account.

Questions about closing
- What does “close” mean here?
- A booked job on an approved US calendar window, written back to the CRM with the outcome, or an owned follow up with one named person, one next action, and one due time. It is not a payment. It is not “we qualify so a human can close later.”
- Is this an outbound closer?
- No. EchoCody is inbound only. It answers calls placed to your numbers and web conversations a visitor starts. A consented text or email never triggers a phone call.
- Will callers know it is a machine?
- On your customer line: the first sentence names Cody as an AI assistant with your shop, says the call is recorded, and offers a person. On this website: Hi, this is EchoCody. Thanks for reaching out. Who do I have the pleasure of speaking with? Shop inbound discloses before any question. This website keeps the EchoCody greeting.
- Can they get a person?
- Yes. Ask for a human, raise a safety issue, or push back, and the call transfers with the context already captured.
- Does it write to our CRM?
- GoHighLevel is live today. Other field service platforms connect via API, webhook, or your automation layer. We do not call an integration connected until it is running on your account.
- How long until it is live?
- 5 days to overflow coverage, then two weeks of daily tune. Those are two separate clocks.
